It all started a few years ago when a young traveler decided to settle down, take responsibility for his life and start building his own legacy. He had a clear idea of business, diplomacy, and communication with people. However, for people without the necessary capital to carry out their own projects, there was not much opportunity, and so the idea of penetrating the real estate market was born. Given the general assumptions and experience of the family business, which were closely linked to the construction industry, and the experience of the traveler, mainly working behind the bar, the work of a travel agent, the young person decided unanimously. He gave up after studying all the security offered by various employers, borrowed the maximum possible funds and began to build his own career as an entrepreneur and real estate broker, in cooperation with a reputable real estate agency of a family nature, focusing primarily on luxury real estate.
Philosophy
It is hard to start in any business, and it is even harder to stay when business fails at the start of business. So it was profitable and meaningful to stick to professionals who are successful in their field, who play with a good name according to the rules, who are able to help you even in the most difficult moments associated with your business and keep you from running back to be sure.
The most important thing was the very beginning of the know-how and I can confidently say that my initial experience in the real estate market in cooperation with the company described above gave me maximum knowledge of how to move around the real estate market, how to get in contact and how to make contacts keep. Also very important to me was the same philosophy that favors quality over quantity. If I should give you an example, I will mention two types of real estate agent, where one tries to achieve the highest success in the number of offers at the expense of quality of service, and the other wants above all the highest quality service and intimate relationship with its clients satisfied with his activities.
Each trader has their own preferences and ideas about their business, but if the trader starts in the real estate market and does not have the established “second” type of real estate broker, sooner or later he will escape from the real estate market. Competition is enormous nowadays and a trader who does not build good relationships with his clients sooner or later ceases his business for failure.
Practice
The right philosophy and the necessary know-how were discovered. The next phase was the application of know-how and philosophy in practice and staying when things were going wrong. Above all, it takes considerable tenacity, confidence and the will to pursue one’s own goal and dream. It could be called a “test”, which is strongly influenced by the happiness factor and where it turns out whether or not you have a future in the real estate market and any other market. The problem is that you don’t know how long the market will test you. In my case, it was longer than I had anticipated, since I had always carefully selected properties from private advertising, always researched everything I could about the property and the owners, even before I dialed the number and asked the owner whether would not want to work with a person he does not know at all and who offers his services as an expert when renting or selling a property.
Another factor is the overall reputation of real estate brokers on the Czech real estate market, which will not help in building a business relationship. Even with careful selection, success did not always occur, although my success was much higher than that of colleagues who just dialed one by one. I cannot even imagine that I could ever practice such an approach because I would not be able to bear a huge number of negative reactions. Therefore, it is also the fact that most of the colleagues who went this way ended their activities in a matter of weeks, at most months.
Strong Will
To not idealize my techniques too much, I do not know how many times I also wanted to escape. In the end, however, I stayed and the gradual success began to appear. At first rarely, gradually more often and finally I reached the created portfolio and my investments began to return. The portfolio was stable, diverse, secured and promising.
As real estate offers multiplied, the portfolio expanded and my activity began to move back to the direction of the “first” type of real estate broker with lots of offers, which negatively reflected its own success. That is why I made a fundamental decision. I stopped expanding my portfolio and started focusing more intensively on existing clients to maximize my own service and property offers as quickly and effectively as possible. The decision proved right. The value of self-service began to rise and real estate began to sell faster.
Progression
At this point I made another decision, which was to become independent and continue to build my own legacy. I would not like to look ungrateful. I agreed with the executives of the company where I worked, duly completed most of the dealings, handed over the rest to colleagues and started to work under my own name. The breakup was definitely not in a hostile light and I am very fond of my activities in this society.
At the moment of loneliness, I imagined to get back to the beginning, as only those I had not acquired through the company and which were my own remained from my portfolio of contacts. On the one hand it was a big loss, however, I had some contacts and I started to build my own activities on them. I did not mind, because they were close people, who trusted me, which I could devote to the maximum and because I had sufficient know-how to proceed successfully in the store from start to finish, so the portfolio began to grow again.
Expansion
I have joined forces with QARA, where I still work, where I stand for myself, where we again share the business philosophy and where, as an independent real estate broker, they provide me with the quality background necessary for my business. See. Modern cozy office in the center of Prague, linking offers with candidates through public advertising, etc. Despite my own satisfaction, this is not enough for me. Obviously I am a person who sees himself as a “personality” and who tends to keep moving forward. The real estate market is still evolving, including all sorts of marketing opportunities, and that’s why I got to build my own brand through my website and social network, where I want to point out not only my real estate business but also my business philosophy and that when things are done and they are tightening to the end, it brings results.
I see the real estate market is full of emotions. Not only the residential segment, but also purely business. Nobody cares where he builds his own home, where he builds his own business background and whether such activity and investment in connection with the background makes sense. I try to honor and take that into account. I prefer quality over quantity and make sure my work is meaningful. In a successful business, all parties need to be satisfied, otherwise it does not work. I still see myself at the beginning, still struggling with uncertainty, but one thing I know for sure … Hard work pays!
